I remembered this tonight as I drove home on a very wet stormy night.

This morning I woke up from a dream, I couldn't remember the dream but I knew that I had a dream. So I was driving out of a fast food place where I had stopped to use the restroom and grab something to eat. For some reason I put my foot all the way down on the gas pedal and speed up quickly and suddenly I remembered what I had dreamt about this morning. Like a flash, I remembered the dream - I was driving and the tachometer of the car I was driving was red lining and the number 9 glowing in digital display on it.

So out of curiosity I looked up some of the word symbol meanings on an online dream dictionary.
Here's what I got:

If you're feeling out of control, it may suggest a need to slow down

Interpretation:
A car within a dream usually represents self or the physical body
If you're a passenger, it may suggest feeling dominated or that someone else is in charge

An overheated car may indicate anger, a need to cool down
