An Image of a Lady in the Sky

I was approaching an intersection near a Catholic Church named St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. I had a green light ahead and I was going at the speed of approximately 45 MPH. Just before my car approached the intersection I made the sign of the cross because I knew there was a church nearby and by habit I do this. Just a split second later my car suddenly stopped without me putting the brakes on. Then a flash of light and an image of a lady in the sky appeared above me. From the left direction of the intersection a pick-up truck went threw a red light straight into the intersection where my car would have to cross. I had a male friend in the car with me and he said, "What in the world just happened?" “I’m not a Catholic but, I think I just saw the Virgin Mary in the sky!" We looked around and noticed this happened to all the cars in the lanes on both sides of our lane. I noticed people pointing at their windshields and making hand motions. They must have seen it too.

I was amazed at what I just saw. I believed this was an incredible miracle. We both decided to not go to the movies and instead we went home and told our families. All of my friend’s family members did not believe him. They were Baptist and did not understand why we thought it was the Blessed Virgin Mary. My mother believed me although my friends did not. My friend became a practicing Catholic and today he serves as an usher for his locale Catholic Church.
