Every time I wanted to go out and play, my Grandmother would tell me, "You have to ask your Mother." "How can I ask her if she is not here?" I complained. So I called Mom on the phone, "Mom can I play with my friends? Grandma always says no." "Yes you can, put Grandma on the phone." I hear my grandmother telling her that she doesn't like me to play outside. She was very strange about that. She didn't like me to do anything. She really had a paranoia problem. Every time she heard a noise outside her window she would look out. It really got on my nerves. I told my Mom several times, but she couldn't do anything about it. She would just tell me to be a good girl.

After several weeks of living with the old folks, my mother came to me and told me that she and Brown Angel wanted to get married. They were asking for my blessing. I was very upset. She dumped me on my Grand parents and now she wants me to just be happy for her. I told her I didn't want to live with Grandmother anymore.

"I want us to live together Mom!" said in protest to the marriage. She replied with, "Don't worry Victoria; we are going to rent the house at the top of the street"
"Are you serious?" I was not sure if she was.
"Yes. We are going to get married and all of us are going to move into the house at the top of the street."
"What house?" I asked.
"The one we used to live in a few years ago. I talked to Mrs. Green and she said she needed to rent it out since the previous tenants had to move." Mom explained. "Well, then I guess I agree to the marriage. When is this going to take place?" hoping soon.
"As soon as we find a Minister to marry us." she smiled.
"Ok then. I'll be waiting at Grandma's house I guess." I said.
