1998
The great wave was just seconds away. There was no where to run. There was nothing I could do to escape this giant body of water coming straight in my path. Just as the wave reached my home, it suddenly stood still. Like time had stood still. I could not believe my eyes. I said to the man that had spoke moments before, "Look at it!" Then I saw that he was frozen. I looked all around. Not one person was moving. I was the only one awake.
The great wall of water was dark blue and stood over 1000 feet high. Inside you could see debris and people spinning around in it. It stood still and perfectly straight. Frightened and amazed I walked over to it. I reached out my hand slowly. I extended my hand carefully and touched the great wall of water with my index finger, which seemed suspended in time. The wall of water's edge was as seamless as glass.
A voice from the sky announced to me, "This wall can destroy what is left of California. The hand of God is what keeps it from moving forth." I crouched in fear and kneeled before the water. My size so tiny compared to the great wall of water. I feared looking up. I was so afraid. I was full of confusion and anxiety. Suddenly the winds from all four corners of the Earth came. The great wall of water reversed itself back to the ocean. The clouds in the sky passed in fast forward motion above me. The Sun showed its light. Everyone around was now awake. But no one was saying anything about what had just happened.
